Sizing Guidelines

Beds

When the dog is laying down, measure the pet's body length from the base of the tail to the tip of the nose and add a minimum of 9"- 12". For bolster or cuddler style beds add a minimum of 5"-7".

Hats

For proper fit measure the length of the head from 1/2" above the dog's brow to the back of the head.

Shoes/Boots

While the dog is standing, measure from the front edge of the small pads to the back edge of the large pad (do not include the nails). We recommend placing the foot on a piece of paper, marking the paper at the front and back of the foot. Then measure between marks on the paper.

Clothes

A. Circumference of Dog's Chest

(Products: Harnesses and Flotation Vests)

Measure the girth around the broadest part of the chest and add 2 inches.

B. Circumference of Dog's Neck

C. Length of Dog's Body - Base of Neck to Base of Tale

(Products: Coats, Sweaters, Shirts and Safety Vests)

Measure the length of the pet's back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Also, if the dog has a stout build, a deep chest, or is overweight, we recommend going up a minimum of one size for the proper fit. If the dog is long-backed, like a Dachshund, a smaller size is recommended.

D. Length of Dog's Body - Base of Neck to Waist

(Products: Midriff Style Jackets and Shirts)

For shorter midriff style garments, measure the length of the pet's back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. (Due to the unique styling of midriff garments, they may sit higher on the dog's back.)
